July Campaign Update

Since the kickoff event in May, the campaign immediately got to work placing yard signs, attending endorsement meetings and reaching out to voters through meet & greets, parades and other community events. Of course, this is all while Judge Laura continues to put most of her time and energy into her position in Superior Court.

Parades and other Community Events:

The campaign was in full force at some of the recent parades, you can check out our recent post to see more details. Judge Laura has also been busy connecting with the community through various events such as the Anacortes Waterfront Festival, Loggerodeo, Highland Games, Blast from the Past in Sedro-Woolley and various fundraisers for worthy causes.  She will continue to be out in the community attending a variety of upcoming events. Please introduce yourself and say hello if you see her at an event.

Meet & Greets:

Meet & Greets are informal gatherings hosted by supporters of the campaign who would like to introduce Judge Riquelme to their friends, family and neighbors. Supporters have hosted successful events where attendees spoke with Judge Laura about her work in Superior Court and why she stands out as a candidate. She even attended one that was hosted as part of an outdoor movie night in a supporter’s yard!  The campaign will continue to schedule and host meet and greets throughout October. Contact us if you would like more information about hosting or attending one of these.

Endorsements:

Judge Laura is humbled by the broad support she has received from judges, attorneys, community leaders and community organizations. The diversity of support she has received shows her ability to serve the various needs of this community by serving from the bench with fairness and integrity. Each of these endorsements signify an individual or group who believes that Judge Laura has the experience and capability to best serve the needs of Skagit County. To see a full list of these endorsements please visit our page here.

Campaign Signs:

The campaign has been busy delivering and putting up signs all over the county. This is an important way to raise awareness about Judge Laura’s campaign.  It’s also one of the easiest ways to get involved. If you are interested in placing a sign, please reach out to us at contact@keepjudgelaura.com

Many thanks to all of our supporters and volunteers who have helped make the start of our campaign such a big success!
